Chapter 22 Werewolf’s Prey 

Antonia Traver’s POV 

Michael’s tone was getting more sarcastic as he mocked, ‘Don’t waste your time. Mr. Stone is a high-status individual who will not accept a hand-me-down like you.” 

“You’re insane!” I didn’t want to bother a villain like Michael, so I shooed him in anger, “Get out right now!” 

“You’re just a used toy that Oliver got tired of playing with. How dare you act so dignified?” 

While unbuttoning his shirt, Michael approached me slyly. 

“There’s no chance you can have Mr. Stone, so why don’t you come with me? Currently, I serve as a senior executive at Dallas Group, and my annual salary is one million. It’s your blessing that I’m interested in you!” 

“You make me sick.” I glared at him in disgust. “If you get any closer, I’m going to call for help.” 

“Go on!” Michael snickered smugly. 

“Don’t you realize it’s now after work hours? Everyone on the 13th floor has gone home, so we’re the only ones left on this floor. Even if I rape you here, you won’t be able to put up much of a fight!” 

When Michael finished talking, he took off his shirt and rushed toward me… 

“Get away from me!” 

I was horrified, so I screamed and waved my hands to stop Michael from approaching me. However, he easily pinned me down to the sink and began to pull at my bathrobe… 

Suddenly, the phone started ringing in my pocket. Immediately afterward, the door to the locker room was kicked open with a bang. The next moment, I saw Michael get kicked in the air, after which he collided with the wall before tumbling to the ground. 

“Ah!” he screamed loudly while covering his stomach. 

Before I could react, someone pinched my cheek, and when I looked up, I was met with a gloomy, arrogant, yet handsome face. 

I was shocked. “Mr. Stone- 

“Are 

you trying to throw away your job after messing with a man?” Elijah stared at me sharply. 

“No. That’s not it.” I hurriedly explained. “I just came here to dry my clothes, but Michael barged in and tried to hara*s me. Check the surveillance camera outside if you don’t believe me—” 

“No, Mr. Stone. This woman seduced me. Michael interrupted me and hurriedly got up to explain. “You might not know this, but Antonia has always been a slutty woman. Four years ago, she was divorced, and after that, she went to the bar to mingle with male escorts. Everyone knew she angered her father to the point he jumped off the building-‘ 

Bam! 

“Ahr 

Before Michael could finish his sentence, Elijah kicked him to the ground again, causing him to spit out a mouthful of blood. 

“Please listen to my explanation…… Michael begged while clutching his chest. “Antonia and I have known each other for the past five years, and she has been trying to seduce me-” 

I was enraged when I heard that! How could he be so shameless?

I was about to retort when I heard Elijah’s murderous command, “If he says one more word, cut off his tongue!”

“Yes, sir!” 

I didn’t know when Larry came over, but he dragged Michael roughly up against the wall and strangled him. I could tell Michael was terrified because his eyes widened in shock as he trembled violently. 

I was stunned by the scene that unfolded in front of me. I didn’t expect Elijah to be so Annaless, and I certainly didn’t expect him to believe me… 

All of a sudden, he approached me. He had a tall, broad figure, so he quickly covered me like prey under a lone wolf’s claws. I widened my eyes and stared at him in puzzlement. My heart was beating wildly….. but I didn’t dare to move an inch. 

He approached me gradually, and his thin lips were about to touch my forehead. Subconsciously, I shut my eyes and shivered out of nervousness. 

However, he didn’t touch me. Instead, he took something from my bathrobe’s pocket. I opened my eyes and was stunned to see the customized phone in his hand…. 

It turned out that Elijah came to look for his phone. It was inside the bathrobe’s pocket, and I took it by accident. That is where the ringtone came from…
