In the Jefferson residence, Stanley was lying on his bed sobbing uncontrollably. Like yesterday, Kate did not give him breakfast and even threw them out

Stanley’s stomach rumbled. He was starving. He swallowed a lump in his throat and wept harder, wetting the pillow beneath his head.
“Daddy, where are you? You promised to take me to the amusement park. Why did you break your promise? Do you not want me? I don’t want to go to the amusement park anymore. Daddy, please come back! I’m so hungry. I want to eat!”
Just then, his door was kicked open, and a series of footsteps could be heard. Kate yanked off the blanket covering Stanley.
She grabbed him by the ear and lifted him off the bed. “You little brat! You hide under the covers all day long! Were you a pig in your previous life? How are you this lazy?”
Stanley’s car was red and it hurt so bad that he burst into tears as he begged, “Ms. Sutton, please let go of me. It hurts.”
Kate pinched his ear even harder when she heard that. “You little brat! Do you still dare to throw a tantrum and hide in bed the next time?”

Stanley cried even louder because of the pain. No matter how many times he begged Kate to stop, it was futile.
