Gwen put away her phone and cheerfully went back to work.
In the afternoon, Victor made another visit to the Lamont family when Jonathan wasn’t home.
Upon entering, he saw Milo on the lawn and went straight over to tease with Milo as if he was at his own home.
Milo barked at him a couple of times, attracting the attention of a servant.
It wasn’t the same one from last time and didn’t recognize Victor. The servant asked who he was.
“I am your CEO’s sister’s brother!” Victor declared confidently, suddenly pointing at another short–haired servant, “She knows me! Hey, I’m talking to you, come over here!”
The short–haired servant saw that it was Victor again, and hurriedly took him to the living room. Upon hearing the servant’s report, Geoffrey came downstairs to find Victor. His face darkened as he said, “Your sister and Jonathan have already broken up. Don’t come here again. Or I won’t be nice to you!”
“Broken up?” Victor’s eyes darted around suspiciously, “You’re not lying to me, are you?”
“You can ask your sister!”
Victor quickly came up with a new plan, “Even if they broke up, my sister has been with Jonathan for a long time. The Lamont family owes her for her lost youth. At least one hundred thousand!!”
Geoffrey almost burst into laughter, turning to Fabian and saying, “Throw him out!”
“You dare!” Victor immediately played the victim, “If you don’t give me money, I won’t leave. I’ll even call reporters and expose how the CEO of the Lamont Group plays with women and doesn’t take responsibility!”

Fabian called over two bodyguards who promptly threw Victor out the door.
Victor landed in a heap. He got up and dialed a number on his phone, “Hey, I did as you said and caused a scene at the Lamont family. They kicked me out and said my sister and Jonathan have broken up. Is it true?”
The woman on the other end took a moment before responding, “You’ve done your job. I’ll have the money transferred to your account tonight. I’ll also get you a ticket out of J City. Don’t ever come back.”
Victor happily agreed, “Alright. As long as the money is enough, I’ll go wherever you want me to.”
“Remember, stay far away from J City and never come back!”
“Sure thing!”
Victor would do anything, as long as he got paid!
When Xavier had his stitches removed, Estelle was there with him.
In the emergency room, as the doctor removed the stitches, Estelle went to get some ointment to help with healing and scar reduction.
As soon as she left, Norah arrived.
Lying on the hospital bed, Xavier said, “Estelle is here, you don’t need to come. Go do whatever you need to do.”
Norah was worried and asked the doctor how Xavier’s wound was healing.
The doctor smiled and said, “It’s healing very well. Once he’s home, he just needs to avoid strenuous exercises. Just avoid infection!”
“Thank you, doctor!” Norah said, relieved.
The doctor turned to Xavier and asked, “Is this your girlfriend? She’s quite pretty!”
